The 3D catalog: game boxes on wooden shelves, with the cat sitting at the counter next to its greeting.

The catalog in 3D

The same catalog has a room you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real games from it when you tell them what you feel like playing. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this game is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

How it feels

A sprawling, old-school RPG crawl through a world on the brink of elemental apocalypse, where assembling a ragtag party of misfits and methodically uncovering secrets feels rewarding in a slow, deliberate way.

About

The Destroyer again walks the land. In the four corners of the world gates to the planes of Fire, Air, Earth, and Water have opened and denizens of those realms are sweeping across the lands. Lead a band of rugged adventures on a most perilous mission to save the world. This is not necessarily an adventure just for Knights, and Clerics, you may need to enlist the aid of the darker races such as, Trolls, Dark Elves, and Minotaurs. Save the kingdoms from ruin or watch as the lands are decimated forever in Might and Magic VIII.

What players say

A first-person dungeon RPG widely seen as the weakest mainline Might and Magic, hampered by a long-stale engine, thin linear story and dragon-driven combat that turns repetitive. Still retains some of the series' addictive old-school charm despite the disappointment.
