How it feels

A solitary, strategic drift through a vast, unknowable cosmos where every decision weighs on your dwindling reserves.

What players say

Players are split. Some say the sequel is a fine casual space exploration sim after its huge Redshift patch, but many more warn that saves break, the game crashes on startup, and the developer shutdown means no fixes. Longtime fans of the original Out There are especially disappointed that survival and alien language learning have been trivialized.
