Players call it a simplified, entry-level hex wargame that reminds some of Panzer General, but many criticize it for retaining a DS interface that makes every action tedious and slow. The lack of auto-save and corrupted saves frustrate, and later campaigns become unplayable due to enemy air spam and limited anti-air ammo. Players split on whether it is a good introduction or a shallow mobile port.
