The 3D catalog: game boxes on wooden shelves, with the cat sitting at the counter next to its greeting.

The catalog in 3D

The same catalog has a room you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real games from it when you tell them what you feel like playing. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this game is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

How it feels

A cel-shaded cruise through Japanese car culture where style and speed blend into a laid-back but lively racing experience.

About

Handle the road like a pro with your own customizable racing machine or your choice of more than 60 top-of-the-line models. Race vehicles from manufacturers, including Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Subaru, and Mitsubishi, against up to eight drivers online or up to two drivers in split-screen mode. You'll tear past spectators, maneuver your way through tight mountain passes, and round each corner of the race track in your dream car at lightning speeds.

What players say

Capcom's lone racer is gorgeous in its hand-drawn cel-shaded style but infamous for floaty, divisive handling and thin content; critics panned it at launch while a later cult re-appraisal calls it a charming, enjoyable arcade racer.
