How it feels
A run-and-gun shooter that feels like a frantic, over-the-top arcade blast through endless hordes of absurd enemies.

What players say
Players say Serious Sam 4 is a rough but enjoyable entry that sticks to the series' formula of huge enemy hordes and big weapons. It adds dual-wielding and a skill tree, but the open levels feel empty and the final boss disappoints. Performance problems persist, though patches and mods have improved things. Fans are split: some call it the weakest main game, others find it a good co-op blast.
