Players enjoy the loop of buying snakes to fight bigger snakes, selling their oil for upgrades. The twist is that you create your own difficulty, buying too many snakes can overwhelm you, making dying to hubris feel funny rather than frustrating. Some note the lack of meta progression means you have to get good, and the last achievement is a pain.
