How it feels

A laid-back, low-stakes simulation of guiding voice actors through tryouts and feedback, feeling more like a gentle workplace errand than an intense challenge.

About

Standby Say You! is a simulation game where the player takes the role of an up-and-coming voice director. The player character is the apprentice of real-life voice actor and director Shigeru Chiba, and is suddenly thrust into their first leading job as the voice director of a new anime series called "Interrupt Girl" after the original director suddenly leaves the project. In-game, the player interacts with the actors in simple adventure-style sequences, watches clips of tryouts, and gives feedback to each of the actors. The console versions also add several mini-games such as matching voice clips with the correct actor.
