Players split on this cartoonish tactical squad game. Some love the Cannon Fodder inspiration and the perma-death stakes, while others criticize the mobile-like grind, waiting timers, and pay-to-win progression. Controls feel worse than the mobile version for some, and permanent soldier loss can be punishing. It is cheap and charming, but the grinding and difficulty turn off many.
