The catalog in 3D

The same catalog has a room you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real games from it when you tell them what you feel like playing. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this game is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

How it feels

A sharp, fast fighting game where managing a four-person roster and calling in quick striker assists adds a layer of tactical pressure to every clash.

About

"The King of Fighters '99: Millennium Battle" is the sixth game in The King of Fighters series by SNK. Unlike in previous games of the series, there are four characters per team instead of three, with the fourth serving as a "Striker", a fighter whose function is only to enter a match, attack the opponent and leave without replacing their teammates. In total, there are seven teams, each containing four characters, four Team Edit characters and a boss.

What players say

A fast, technical 2D fighter that shook up the series with the strategic Striker assist system and a fresh NESTS storyline. Slightly overshadowed by '98 but still beloved as a standout, deep entry in the franchise.
