Players agree this is the weakest season of Telltale's Walking Dead, with a slow middle and shallow side characters whose loyalty flips too often. The new protagonist Javi and his family story work well, but Season 2 endings are ignored and most choices feel meaningless. The final episode redeems much of the season.
