Players say this is largely the same game as the original Bee Simulator, with an identical story and map for the first half, and the new hive-building mode only unlocks after finishing that. While some enjoy the added resource gathering and decoration, others find the hive mode unfinished and the whole package feels like a paid DLC rather than a full sequel.
