How it feels
A tense, punishingly difficult tactical strategy game where you manage a base and fight Lovecraftian alien forces in the dark, claustrophobic depths of the ocean.

What players say
Players say this sequel is harder than the original to the point of tedium, with enormous maps and starting weapons that feel useless. Many insist the OpenXcom mod is essential to fix bugs and the clunky interface. Fans of the setting call it atmospheric, but others see a frustrating reskin.
