プレイヤーは住民が自発的に動く王国で自由に暮らし、恋愛や結婚、世代交代を繰り返すスローライフを楽しめる。2016年の続編よりこちらはNPCの恋愛が能動的で、自動モードと倍速モードで眺めるデスクトップアクセサリー的な遊び方もできる。ただし初年の星の日にシズニの丘に行くと会話バグで詰むとの報告があり、セーブデータは一つしかない。
