How it feels

It feels like navigating a tense, Lovecraftian point-and-click mystery through icy Antarctic wastelands and shifting eerie environments, with a methodical puzzle-solving pace.

What players say

Players are split on Prisoner of Ice. Some love its pulpy Lovecraft atmosphere and story, but nearly everyone says the puzzles are broken by pixel hunting and moon logic, making it miserable without a walkthrough. It is much shorter than its predecessor Shadow of the Comet, about 3-4 hours, and many find the writing, pacing and 3D models a step down.
