Players agree this is not a true Metroidvania: you have no unlockable abilities, just a free-roam map of 100 rooms each hiding a pumpkin. The game is short (under 30 minutes for most), has no music, and its retro Atari-style graphics divide opinion. Movement is tight but some rooms feel empty. A dedicated few enjoy pursuing the brutal deathless-run achievement.
