Players are split on Deadly Traps. Some enjoy the simple hardcore platforming with fast restarts and 30 one-screen levels, but many more say the lack of midair control and imprecise hitboxes make the difficulty feel unfair. The gem system for cosmetic unlocks and level skips is widely seen as useless.
