Players praise the story as one of the series' best and call it a great entry point, especially with the Jin kingdom. But the PC port has noticeable controller issues: wrong button prompts and no UI for controllers, so a guide is needed. The gameplay is older than Dynasty Warriors 8 but still enjoyable, and it runs well on Steam Deck.
