The 3D catalog: game boxes on wooden shelves, with the cat sitting at the counter next to its greeting.

The catalog in 3D

The same catalog has a room you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real games from it when you tell them what you feel like playing. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this game is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

About

Introducing the ideal shogi game--providing a combination of strength, aptitude, and speed so that you won't have to wait. The YSS7.0 engine by Hiroshi Yamashita, undefeated champion of the 7th World Computer Shogi Tournament, has been optimized for use on the PlayStation. There are 4 levels of difficulty available, from "1. Expert" to "4. Novice." There is also a handy support feature for beginners, and a "Board Edit" function allowing you to edit the layout to your liking, so you can enjoy strategizing in a variety of mock situations.
