How it feels
a methodical, old-school turn-based RPG that evokes the feel of a pen-and-paper session with deliberate exploration and cryptic secrets.

What players say
Players call it the weakest of the trilogy, with a noticeably smaller map, rushed story, and an ending that feels abrupt and unsatisfying. Combat and loot are better balanced than Book II, but survival meters for food and gear durability are punishing early on. Fans of the series will still find the core appeal, but expectations should be lowered.
