Players say Fantasy Friends is a cute but shallow pet sim that quickly becomes repetitive. The creature care loop of feeding and cleaning is simple, and the minigames that unlock at the adult stage add some variety for a few hours. However, many note that the game has very little content for its price, with only 12 pets and a grind for skins that is not worth the time.
