How it feels
A celebratory open-world driving festival where you cruise through scenic Japanese landscapes, collect cars, and hang out with friends in a relaxed, social atmosphere.

What players say
Players praise the Japan setting, the rock-solid optimization and the best driving feel in the series. But many are frustrated by the forced weekly co-op events, the festival playlist's punitive FOMO design, and a wave of crashes and disconnects that started with a post-launch update. Cheating goes largely unpunished, and the character writing is bland.
