About
The Dreamcast, PC and PlayStation 2 ports of Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, which feature major graphic improvements and the addition of lip synchronization for the polygon models during cutscenes.
What players say
A dark, flashlight-driven survival horror that nails dread and a trapped-in-a-haunted-mansion atmosphere, drawing on the Resident Evil mold it helped inspire. The PS2 version is the weakest port, dragged down by slowdown and stiff controls, but it retains a cult following for its mood.
