Players praise the art and eerie atmosphere, with a few jumpscares early on. The puzzles are clear and the map with automatic travel cuts down on backtracking. There is a bonus chapter about a mysterious assassin. Some find the voice acting weak and storytelling heavy-handed, but fans of the genre say it is a solid entry.
