Players say House Builder 2 simplifies the original's manual crafting to a mostly hold-button tracing of blueprints, which some find mindless. The game is riddled with bugs, from progress loss to items falling out of trucks, and the minimap lacks markers, making navigation a chore. Fans of the first game are especially disappointed.
