Players describe HVOR as an abandoned early access game with dead multiplayer and no updates since release. The controls are buggy with a sticky aim, zombies twitch and clip through geometry, and gameplay is a repetitive kiting sim with very little enemy variety. Some find it a decent casual time-waster for free, but most call it unfinished and not worth playing.
