The 3D catalog: game boxes on wooden shelves, with the cat sitting at the counter next to its greeting.

The catalog in 3D

The same catalog has a room you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real games from it when you tell them what you feel like playing. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this game is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

How it feels

A brisk, colourful one-on-one fighter that keeps things snappy and fun with flashy kicks, animated backdrops, and a bouncing ball gimmick that stops the action from ever taking itself too seriously.

About

Call it a sequel... And you'll land up flat on your back. They called International Karate "the greatest Karate beat' em up yet" (Commodore User). And who are we to argue? But Archer Maclean has come up with a stunner: A third fighter. An amazing animated background. New moves (including double head-kick and a spectacular backflip). Re-mixed music by Rob Hubbard. And Balls!

What players say

A fast, responsive and intuitive beach-fighting classic whose chaotic three-way free-for-all delivered frenetic competitive fun, widely regarded as the finest fighting game of the 8-bit era.
