Bismillah (Azerbaijani: Bismillah, lit. 'In the Name of God'; Russian: Бисмиллах) is a 1925 Soviet Azerbaijani propaganda film, the first film by the Azerbaijani director Abbas-Mirza Sharifzade, it is a silent film drama (Russian subtitles) about religious fanaticism and with an anti-Islamic theme. The movie was shot at a time when there was a fight against the Islamic religion in the country.
