Hús í svefni (danska: Det Sovende Hus, eða ‚hið sofandi hús‘) er byltingakennd íslensk kvikmynd eftir Guðmund Kamban, en hann skrifaði líka frumsamið handrit. Á þeim tíma sem kvikmyndin kom út var venjan að gera kvikmyndir eftir skáldsögum eða leikritum. Myndin var tekin í Danmörku, en framleiðslan fór bæði fram á Íslandi og Danmörku. Handrit þetta var einnig gefið út í bókarformi hér á landi undir nafninu Meðan húsið svaf. Segir sagan frá ungum hjónum, lífi þeirra, ástum og örlögum. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
