Friede: i due film propongono la biografia di Federico il Grande - soprannominato der alte Fritz (il vecchio Fritz) - e fanno parte di un genere di pellicole che, in Germania, vennero convenzionalmente chiamate Fridericus-Rex-Filme, tutte dedicate alla figura del re prussiano.
