What happens
Lumisten metsien mies on vuonna 1928 valmistunut suomalainen mykkäelokuva, jonka on ohjannut Uuno Eskola. Elokuva perustuu Eskolan novelliin Raitojan Jussi vuodelta 1926 ja sen ensi-ilta oli Tampereella 10. toukokuuta 1928, mutta Helsingissä vasta 5. elokuuta 1929 Kaleva-teatterissa. Tampereen lähistössä kuvatussa hiihtourheiluaiheisessa elokuvassa oli mukana seitsemän Tampereen Teatterin näyttelijää. Pääosa oli teatterin ulkopuolisella taidemaalari Viljo Hurmeella. Elokuvan sisäkuvaukset tehtiin Eskolan ateljeessa Tampereen Ojakadulla. Huonosti menestynyt elokuva vei Eskolan yhtiön Aquilan konkurssiin. Elokuva tuhoutui Adams Filmin tulipalossa 1959, ja siitä on säilynyt vain noin kahden minuutin verran otoksia. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
