The catalogue in 3D
The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this film is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.
How it feels
Two young men from the countryside, one poor and one rich, leave home to serve their mandatory military time in the Finnish army. The film follows their experiences of training and duty, intercut with actual footage of a 1928 parade commemorating the end of Finland's civil war.

What happens
Meidän poikamme on vuonna 1929 valmistunut suomalainen mykkäelokuva, jonka on ohjannut Erkki Karu. Elokuvan ensi-ilta oli 18. helmikuuta 1929 Kino-Palatsi-teatterissa Helsingissä. Meidän poikamme on puolidokumentaarinen kuvaus kahdesta maalaispojasta, jotka lähtevät suorittamaan asevelvollisuuttaan Suomen armeijaan. Köyhän torpan Matti-poikaa esittää Axel Slangus ja rikkaan maatalon Pekka-poikaa Helge Ranin. Elokuvan ulkokuvauksia tehtiin sotilasalueilla Korialla, Parolassa, Santahaminassa, Suomenlinnassa ja Utissa. Elokuvaan sisältyi myös jakso Helsingin Senaatintorilla 16. toukokuuta 1928 pidetystä sisällissodan päättymisen kymmenvuotisparaatista. Samaan aihepiiriin liittyen Erkki Karu teki myöhemmin elokuvat Meidän poikamme merellä (1933) ja Meidän poikamme ilmassa – me maassa (1934). (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
