This is a 1930 Belarusian documentary that combines five short segments including a speech by a high official, a poetry reading, a concert, a newsreel, and a political cartoon. It was the first Belarusian sound film but the sound was used in an experimental and illustrative way.

«Пераварот» (руск.: Переворот) ― беларускі дакументальны фільм рэжысёра Юрыя Тарыча, зняты ў 1930 годзе на кінастудыі «Белдзяржкіно». З’яўляецца першым беларускім гукавым фільмам, ужыванне гуку насіла тэхніка-эксперыментальны характар і з’яўлялася ілюстрацыйным. Прадстаўляе сабой альманах з пяці дакументальных сюжэтаў: гаворка старшыні СНК БССР, дэкламацыя паэмы, канцэрт, гукавая хроніка і палітычны шарж «Прыгоды Алёнкі на мяжы». Прэм’ера адбылася 24 снежня 1930 года ў Магілёве ў кінатэатры «Чырвоная Зорка», білеты на сеансы каштавалі ад 35 да 75 капеек. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
