How it feels

A young woman named Junta lives in a mountain village and is ostracized by the locals because she is drawn to a mysterious blue glow that appears on a rocky peak during full moons. The glow comes from a hidden cave filled with crystals, which only she can reach. When a stranger arrives and discovers her secret, the villagers' greed and fear lead to tragedy.

The Blue Light (German: Das blaue Licht) is a black-and-white 1932 film directed by Leni Riefenstahl and written by Béla Balázs with uncredited scripting by Carl Mayer. In Riefenstahl's film version, the witch, Junta, played by Riefenstahl, is intended to be a sympathetic character.
