The Illustrious Maurin (French: L'illustre Maurin) is a 1933 French comedy film directed by André Hugon and starring Antonin Berval, Nicole Vattier and Jean Aquistapace. It is based on the 1908 novel The Illustrious Maurin by Jean Aicard. The film's sets were designed by the art director Robert-Jules Garnier. It is a sequel to the 1932 film Maurin of the Moors also directed by Hugon, and starring Berval, Vattier and Aquistapace. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
