How it feels
Two military officers return to France after a long posting in the Sahara, bound by deep friendship. The younger one falls in love with the other's wife, but keeps his feelings secret to avoid betraying his friend. When he is wounded by his friend, he allows himself to be wrongly accused of self-harm by a war council.

Légions d'honneur est un film français réalisé par Maurice Gleize, sorti en 1938. Deux officiers liés d'amitié rentrent ensemble en France après un long séjour dans le bled saharien. Le plus jeune homme tombe amoureux de la femme de l'autre mais ne trahit pas la confiance de son ami. Blessé par ce dernier, il se laisse accuser de mutilation volontaire par le Conseil de Guerre.
