The catalogue in 3D
The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this film is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.
How it feels
This 1938 Danish documentary compiles silent footage of life in Greenland. It shows daily activities like gathering kvas, burning trash, and older women smoking pipes. Younger women chew eider duck skins to soften them, a man builds a kayak, and children learn kayaking. Adults demonstrate advanced kayaking, there is a vote in southern Greenland with women in festive dress, and people dance polka to an accordion. A small boy holds a puppy. In Julianehåb, a modern well-off family has dinner with piano music, and people knit and read by lamplight. Some footage comes from Jette Bang's film Inuit.

What happens
(from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
