Vänrikki Stoolin tarinat on suomalais-ruotsalainen sotaelokuva vuodelta 1939. Se on Roland af Hällströmin ohjauksessa uudelleenleikattu versio John W. Bruniuksen vuonna 1926 ohjaamista ruotsalaisista mykkäelokuvista Vänrikki Stoolin tarinat 1 ja Vänrikki Stoolin tarinat 2, jotka perustuvat Johan Ludvig Runebergin runoteokseen Vänrikki Stoolin tarinat. Jäger Filmi osti vuonna 1938 Bruniuksen kaksiosaisen mykkäelokuvan suomalaiset esitysoikeudet tarkoituksenaan tehdä siitä yksiosainen ääniversio. Ääniversiota varten Roland af Hällström uudelleenleikkasi elokuvan ja siihen lisättiin Teuvo Puron lausumat runot sekä Tapio Ilomäen säveltämä musiikki.
