Yılmaz Ali, 1940 yapımı Türk filmidir. Türk sinemasındaki ilk polisiye film çalışmalarından birisidir. Tiyatro dışından gelen ilk sinemacı yönetmen Faruk Kenç’in çektiği ikinci sinema filmdir. Daha önceki sinema filmlerine kıyasla hareketli sahneleri ve dış mekan kullanımları ile dikkat çeker. Oyuncu olarak Suavi Tedü ve Nevzat Okçugil gibi sinemanın yeni yüzlerine yer verilmiştir. Vâlâ Nureddin'in bir eserinden uyarlanan filmde, zengin bir kadının evinde öldürülmesi ve ardından Yılmaz Ali adlı polis hafiyesiyle ile bir gazeteci genç kızın bu olayı araştırıp ortaya çıkarma çabaları anlatılır. 3,5 ayda çekilen film 12 Nisan 1940'ta gösterime girmiştir.
