É o primeiro filme de Oscarito na Atlântida Cinematográfica e o primeiro dos treze filmes em que contracenaria com Grande Otelo, embora ainda não formassem a dupla que os consagraria — isso só aconteceria no filme seguinte, Não Adianta Chorar, de Watson Macedo.
