தெய்வ நீதி 1947-ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளிவந்த தமிழ்த் திரைப்படமாகும். இளங்கோவன் எழுத்தில், எம். எல். டாண்டன் இயக்கத்தில் வெளிவந்த இத்திரைப்படத்தில் கே. ஆர். ராமசாமி, வி. ஏ. செல்லப்பா மற்றும் பலரும் நடித்திருந்தனர். இலங்கையைச் சேர்ந்த டபிள்யூ. எம். எஸ். தம்பு இப்படத்தைத் தயாரித்தார். திருவிளையாடல் புராணத்தில் வரும் ஒரு படலம் இப்படத்தின் கதையாகும். மதுரை சோமசுந்தரேசுவரரின் பக்தரான பாண்டிய மன்னனின் (செல்லப்பா) நீதிமன்றத்துக்கு வரும் ஒரு பெண் (செல்லம்) தனது ஒரே மகளை வேட்டைக்காரன் (ராமசாமி) கொலை செய்தான் என்று முறையிடுகிறாள். குற்றவாளியாகக் காணப்பட்ட வேட்டைக்காரனுக்குத் தூக்குத் தண்டனை விதிக்கப்படுகிறது. வேட்டைக்காரனின் மனைவி (கண்ணாம்பா) அரண்மனைக்கு வந்து தனது கணவன் குற்றவாளி அல்ல எனக் கூறுகிறாள். ஆனாலும் அதனை செவி மடுக்க மன்னன் அக்கறை காட்டவில்லை. அன்றிரவு மன்னனின் கனவில் ஒலித்த ஒரு குரல், மன்னன் நீதி தவறி விட்டான் என்றும், வேட்டைக்காரன் கொலையாளி அல்ல என்றும் கூறுகிறது. இறுதியில் உண்மை தெரிய வந்து வேட்டைக்காரன் விடுதலை ஆகிறான். வேட்டைக்காரனாக வந்தது முருகன் எனத் தெரிய வருகிறது. இறந்த மகள் உயிர் பெற்றெழுகிறாள். இளங்கோவன் திரைக்கதை வசனத்தை எழுதியிருந்தார். பாபநாசம் சிவன் பாடல்களை எழுதியிருந்தார். எம். எஸ். ஞானமணி இசையமைத்திருந்தார். ராமசாமி, செல்லப்பா, கண்ணாம்பா ஆகியோர் பாடல்களைப் பாடியிருந்தனர். துரைராஜ், நாகலட்சுமி ஆகியோர் நகைச்சுவை வேடங்களில் நடித்திருந்தனர்.
