How it feels
A couple tries to flee Europe after World War II by joining a ship of illegal immigrants heading to Palestine. The film mixes scripted scenes with real documentary footage shot aboard the actual ship.

הבלתי חוקיים (או הבלתי לגאליים, מוכר גם בשם לא תפחידונו) הוא סרט משנת 1948 שצולם בנתיבי ההעפלה מאירופה לארץ ישראל. הסרט משלב עלילה בדיונית, שבמרכזה זוג מעפילים, בצילומים תיעודיים. הסופר היהודי-אמריקאי מאיר לוין כתב, הפיק וביים את הסרט. ארבעה אנשי צוות - לוין, השחקנים טרסקה טורס ויענקל מיכאלוביץ (לימים יצחק מיכאלי), והצלם ברטראן הס - הפליגו בדצמבר 1947 באוניית המעפילים "לא תפחידונו". הם השתלבו בין המעפילים, ונעצרו לימים ספורים אחרי שהאונייה נתפסה בידי הבריטים.
