How it feels
In a desert tribe, a man named Qais falls in love with a woman named Layla. He recites poems about her which become popular in the tribe but this goes against tradition. Another man competes for Layla's hand in marriage and her father agrees. Layla marries against her will, becomes ill, and Qais continues to recite poems about his lost love.
