The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this series is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

How it feels

A documentary series that follows a single person, event, or place in real time. Each episode uses one camera and a presenter, with no editing or second takes. The show aired morning segments from one British spot, then later moved to weekly stories from different countries.

What happens

As It Happens is a British documentary television series made by Barraclough Carey Productions for Channel 4, broadcast between 2 January 1990 and 3 November 1992. The series was transmitted mostly live, with a presenter and a single camera following a story, event or location without editing or second takes. It ran in two distinct forms. From 1990 it was a weekday-morning strand built around blocks of consecutive editions from a single British location. In 1991 it returned as a weekly late-evening series of self-contained editions from locations around the world. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
