What happens
Rebel Rabbit is a 1949 Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies animated short directed by Robert McKimson. The cartoon was released on April 9, 1949, and features Bugs Bunny. In the film, Bugs finds the insignificant bounty on rabbits to be offensive. He is informed that rabbits are considered harmless. He sets out to prove how dangerous rabbits can be, by vandalizing monuments and landmarks throughout the United States. He is soon targeted by the entire War Department.
