International Dance League

The 3D catalogue: film cases on wooden shelves, with the cat sitting at the counter next to its greeting.

The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this series is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

How it feels

Professional dance crews from around the world compete in a league-style series. They perform open-style choreography in a two-round format, and judges score them against a set criteria. Hosts and an analyst add commentary, while head judges oversee the rules and results.

What happens

The International Dance League (abbreviated as IDL) is an international competitive professional dance league featuring six established, well-known international dance crews, referred to as 'pro teams' that compete for first place through open-style choreography infusing numerous dance genres. Founded by Connor Lim of STEEZY Studio, The IDL is a league-based ecosystem for professional dance in live events through the pro division and community divisions. The series launch event started on July 26, 2025, with the competitive dancing series started on May 2, 2026 through live-streaming platforms. The show is hosted JustMaiko, Megan Batoon, and Ricky Cole; with Clay Boonthanakit as an analyst to the performances. The IDL employs a select panel of judges who critique the dance crews through a scoring criteria sheet awarding points to a pro team in a two-round format per each series. The head judging panel consists of Nicolas Bégin and Dr. Arnel Calvario, who watch over the league; create and enforce rules; and preserve the results of the main judging panel.
