Reportagefilm om udstillingen af kunstskatte fra Wien, der i februar måned 1949 blev afholdt på Statens Museum for Kunst i København. Der indledes med nogle glimt fra åbningen, der overværedes af kongeparret, og hvor undervisningsminister Hartvig Frisch talte.
