What happens
Basic Bitch is a Norwegian comedy series that aired on TVNorge from 2020 to 2023. The series follows the lives of four friends—Anine, Ingrid, Madeleine, and Julie—from Tønsberg. The main roles are played by Emilie Skolmen, Ada Otilde Skjong Eide, Karin Klouman, and Kristine Grændsen. The series won the award for Best Comedy Program at the Gullruten 2022 and was nominated in the same category for Gullruten 2021. The show was also nominated for the Seriekritikerprisen in 2021 for Best Norwegian Drama and for the Humorprisen in 2020/2021 and 2023 in the category of Best Comedy Drama. The series was filmed in Tønsberg, with some scenes shot in Oslo.
