Hagen Hasselbach fulgte med et af Grønlands Styrelses skibe på et sommertogt langs Grønlands kyst og indfangede med sit smalfilmskamera en række indtryk af Grønland på godt og ondt, som han sammenarbejdede til en skildring af sommerens Grønland - Grønland i sol.
