Fou un encàrrec fet al director pels dirigents d'Acció Catòlica en homenatge al bisbe de Terol Anselmo Polanco Fontecha mort durant la guerra civil espanyola, i fou protagonitzada pel sacerdot falangista Venancio Marcos.
