How it feels
A young man in Egypt volunteers for the army after his rich father plans to marry the girl he loves. During the 1948 war in Palestine, he meets a Palestinian woman in Gaza, and they fall in love. His father supplies faulty weapons to the army, causing the son to lose his sight in combat.

أرض الأبطال فيلم درامي مصري. في أجواء حرب 1948 بفلسطين، يُصدم أحد الشباب عندما يعلم أن والده الثري قرر أن يتزوج الفتاة التي يُغرم بها، فيتطوع في الجيش، ويشترك في الحرب. وفي مدينة غزة يلتقي بفتاةٍ فلسطينية، ويتحابان ويقرران الزواج، فيقوم الأب بتوريد أسلحة فاسدة إلى الجيش، تكون سببًا في فقدان الابن لبصره في خلال إحدى العمليات.
